PARTICIPATION IN BOATING ACTIVITIES HITS HIGHEST LEVELS SINCE 2002

Olympian Recruited For Key Coaching Role

Olympic representative Carrie Smith has been appointed as Head of State Coaching in Victoria, Australian Sailing Performance Director Iain Murray announced last night. Smith, who competed in the 470 class at the Rio Games in 2016, retired from competition early this year. However, Australian Sailing was keen to ensure her expertise remained in the sport. Australian Sailing Hall of Fame nominations now open

Nominations have opened today for the Australian Sailing Hall of Fame. In only its second year, the Hall of Fame initiative was established by Australian Sailing in collaboration with the Australian National Maritime Museum to recognise the greats of our sport.
